Kenny Wong

Overview

Kenny primarily practices Family Law and Wills & Estates. He takes a collaborative approach focusing on practical, common-sense solutions to family law disputes. However, when court action is necessary, he act swiftly and effectively. Kenny has successfully represented numerous clients in the Supreme Court and Provincial Court of BC, as well as in family mediation.

Memberships/Professional Affiliations

He earned his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Leeds in the UK, where he participated in community-based extracurricular activities, including representing clients through the Welfare Appeals and Tribunal Clinic with Citizens Advice.

Away From The Office

Outside of work, Kenny enjoys tennis, playing guitar, and staying active with his forever puppy, Kya.

Yasith (Yaz) Yakandawela

Overview

A local Port Moody resident, Yaz is in the civil litigation practice with a focus on family and immigration law. Yaz joined the firm in 2024 after successfully completing his articles at Legal Aid BC. Yaz has successfully conducted hearings in the Provincial and Supreme courts of British Columbia and is eager to serve his local community. Yaz values collaborative conflict resolution whilst protecting and fighting for his client’s best interests.

Away from the Office

On his down time, Yaz enjoys tinkering on his car, and playing Tennis and Soccer, often at Trasolini Field in Port Moody. Yaz also values the time he spends with his family, and his cat, Cheeto.
